On 10th October, 2023, MES’s Pillai College of Education and Research, Chembur, in association with the Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension (DLLE) organized a significant event. A street play titled “How are you? Are you ok?” was staged at three prominent locations in Chembur – Chembur station, Ambedkar garden, and Chembur Naka. The play aimed to raise awareness about mental health on World Mental Health Day 2023. Through a compelling and interactive street performance the play sought to dismantle stigma, foster open dialogue and advocate community support for mental well-being marking a significant contribution to public health awareness efforts.
