On the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day (28th July, 2024), F.Y. B.Ed. students visited Maharashtra Nature Park. They saw many types of plants and animals, a wide variety of flowers and butterflies, showcasing the rich biodiversity.
This visit helped them understand the importance of green spaces and biodiversity for nature conservation in densely populated cities like Mumbai and highlighted the need for sustainable practices to protect the environment. This activity was aligned with SDG 15 # Life on Land.
