MES’s Pillai College of Education and Research, Chembur, in collaboration with the Regional cum State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (ROTTO-SOTTO) and the Soroptimist Welfare Association (SIBC), organized a Session on World Organ Donation Day (12th August, 2024). Ms. Sujata Ashtekar, Consultant, IEC, Regional and State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation, was the resource person for the session. Ms. Sujata provided information on the medical, legal, and ethical aspects of organ donation and also explained the Legal and Ethical Framework for organ donation in India. This event raised awareness about the significance of organ donation.
