The Valedictory programme for the batch of 2017-19 was held on 24th April, 2019 in the Chembur campus. The programme was graced by the presence of Shri G. T. Ochani, Mr. Bhaskar Thube, Ms. Geeta Menon and Ms. Annama Paul.

The student Council of F.Y.B.Ed. organised a colourful programme of songs, dances, shayaris, poems, games and wonderful video presentation for their seniors. The annual report was read by the General Secretary, Ms. Nanda Deshmukh. The students shared their experiences of B.Ed. and thanked the Principal, faculty and non teaching staff their support and co operation in all their activities.

The highlight of the programme was the felicitation of our Principal, Dr. Sunita Wadikar at the 20th Principals’ Conference, Anand, Gujarat for being the proud recipient of the Award in appreciation of excellent performance and high grade in Assessment & Accreditation by NAAC. Ma’am was also awarded the Best Paper award by Higher Education Forum, Mumbai.

Our faculty, Ms. Vani Achari was felicitated for being the proud recipient of RACE-2019 Bangkok Award for ‘Best Thesis’, ‘the Bright Educator Award 2018’ by I2OR, ‘the IARDO Award for Promising Educators-2018’, ‘the Bharat Ratna Dr.Abdul Kalam Gold Medal Award for excellence in the field of education’ and ‘the Outstanding Teacher Educator Award’ by the ASIA-ARAB SUMMIT.

Our ex faculty Dr. Sandhya Sarwade and Dr. Vinita Desai were remembered and appreciated in absentia for receiving their doctoral degree and Dr. Sneha Raikar for taking up the post of principal of Jogeshwari Education Society Junior college of Arts, Science and Commerce.

The students received certificates for the Best Action Research, Most Committed Student, Best handwriting, Best student Academics, Best contribution Culturals, walking the extra mile etc. Winners of the Nationwide competition for Laws related to Women organised by NCW, New Delhi were felicitated with certificates and cash prizes.

Principal ma’am and the teachers wished the students best of luck for their future as the students bid their seniors an emotional farewell.
