PCER Chembur organised a session on ‘Professional Development among Teachers’as part of the Alumni Learning Q-EST series on 27th April, 2024 for second year B.Ed. students. The resource persons for the session were PCER Alumni Mr. Sunil Sharma, Vice President and Dr. Anuradha Sridhar, Head- Curriculum Development and Training, Aditya Birla Education Academy. The session focused on orienting student teachers regarding the changing trends and demands of the education sector today. The teaching learning experiences need to cater to the requirements of today’s learners and the teachers therefore need to build relevant skills and competencies to meet the needs of the present-day learner. The session in alignment with SDG # 4 Quality Education provided an opportunity for the student teachers to be updated on the avenues that they need to explore towards enhancing their professional capabilities.
