The orientation session was conducted on 30th September, 2024 by Dr. Reni Francis, Principal, PCER Chembur. The session was planned to introduce the new batch 2024-2026 of first year B.Ed students in understanding the B.Ed curriculum. During this session an overview of the B.Ed curriculum for Semester 1 was provided. Dr. Reni Francis discussed the various subjects and papers the students would study in Semester 1. A detailed explanation of the assessment structure including internal assessment, assignments and external exams was provided. Apart from the academic curriculum, the orientation also highlighted various co-curricular and extracurricular activities that students can participate in throughout the B.Ed program. The orientation program concluded with a Question and Answer session, where students had the opportunity to clarify any doubts regarding the syllabus, and extracurricular activities. In conclusion, the orientation successfully provided the Semester 1 B.Ed students with a comprehensive understanding of the syllabus and various curricular activities.
