On 17th October, 2023 PCER, Chembur, in collaboration with the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) commemorated the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty by organizing the “Fistful of Grains” project. This initiative addressed poverty by distributing essential food grains to those in need. With substantial support the project successfully collected and distributed 60 kgs of rice, 65 kgs of sugar and 45 kgs of mixed dal. Over 100 deserving families benefited from this generous contribution highlighting the impact of collective action in battling poverty and supporting vulnerable communities through the empathetic efforts of PCER Chembur and DLLE collaboration.
