On 19th December, 2023, the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) of the University of Mumbai organized the Second Term Training Programme at C.K.T College Panvel, by gathering DLLE committee members, extension teacher, and students Manager. Dr. Vithoba Sawant, the DLLE extension teacher of PCER Chembur, and students Manager Ms. Anupa Mukhopadhaya and Mr. Premprakash Gupta were the representatives from our institution. The session focused on the Education Literacy Program and introduced the participants to the new E-portal for DLLE document submissions and gave details about the upcoming UDAAN Festival which would be held in the month of January & February 2024. The meeting served as an informative platform by providing valuable insights into DLLE initiatives and encouraging collaboration for educational and community development within the University of Mumbai.
On 19th December 2023, PCER, Chembur hosted an online First Term Training session for student-teachers under DLLE. The session was conducted by Field Coordinator Dr. Chandrashekhar Chakradeo, Dr. Vithoba Sawant and Ms. Surekha Chidambarnath and it focused on DLLE projects particularly the Environment Education Project (EEP) coordinated by the University of Mumbai. Dr. Chakradeo outlined the assignment involving community engagement and questionnaire dissemination. The session provided valuable insights into conducting surveys and fostering environmental awareness. We express gratitude to PCER for facilitating this opportunity and equipping us with the necessary information for DLLE participation. It was an enriching experience fostering both personal and professional growth.
