2019-20

  • Appointed as the Member of Board of Studies in Education, University of Mumbai.
  • Dr. Reni Francis, Principal of Pillai College of Education and Research along with 8 alumni of the B.Ed. college presented their book ‘Decoding SDGs in Classroom’ to the Honourable Minister for Higher and Technical Education (Govt. of Maharashtra) Shri. Vinod Tawde today. Another book ‘Language Enhancement’ co-authored by Dr. Reni and Ms. Jaya was also presented to the Minister.
  • He interacted with the team of teachers and students and discussed the book contents and its impact in schools. Tawde Sir also discussed with the teachers recent topics such as Aarey, Tax policies, Carbon Footprint, Gender audit.

2018-19

  • Successfully completed a Five days Faculty Development Programme on Nai- Talim organized by Thane Sub-campus, University of Mumbai and MGNCER(MHRD), Hyderabad.

  • Dr. Reni Francis was awarded the Senior Woman Educator and Scholar Award in the field of Education and Research by the National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development during the Women’s Day Awards 2017.
