On 13th January, 2024, PCER, Chembur, in association with Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension (DLLE), hosted a special assembly celebrating Harvest Festivals. Students presented insights into diverse festivals like Lohri, Pongal, Uttrayan, Makar Sankranti among others highlighting their significance and regional variations. They underscored the pivotal role of farmers, diverse culinary traditions and unique celebratory customs. The assembly served as a vibrant showcase of India’s rich cultural tapestry fostering cultural appreciation and understanding among students. It was a commendable initiative by PCER and DLLE to promote cultural diversity and unity among students through the celebration of the harvest festivals.
