On 1st December, 2023, PCER, Chembur, in collaboration with the Department of Lifelong Learning & Extension (DLLE), undertook a significant initiative on World AIDS Day. The event featured an expert talk by Ms. Dipti Kadam. Students had organised a skit and quiz effectively disseminating crucial information about HIV/AIDS. S.Y.B.Ed students as part of their internship organized an AIDS awareness session for school students focusing on educating the youth about HIV/AIDS. They effectively conveyed important information through a skit and a quiz. The event was a success fostering empathy and breaking down barriers by combining creative expression with factual knowledge. This initiative contributed to creating a well-informed and supportive community in the fight against HIV/AIDS emphasizing the importance of spreading awareness and understanding among the younger generation.
