A Session on Enhancing Educational Effectiveness: A Comprehensive Exploration of Assessment Tools was conducted to discuss some of the innovative strategies the B.Ed students could use in designing meaningful assessments that encourage critical thinking and creativity. The session was held on 7th November 2024 by Dr. Farah Shaikh, an alumnus of Pillai College of Education and Research Chembur and an IB Physics teacher of Dr. Pillai Global Academy, Gorai. The activity had both formative and summative assessment aspects and was nicely integrated with a variety of activities for different subjects. This workshop was very enriching in understanding the measures that can bring meaning and transformation to assessment for both students and teachers.
