To commemorate National Mathematics Day, an online quiz was organized for B.Ed students on 22nd December, 2024, honoring the birth anniversary of the great mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The quiz was conducted online through Google Forms consisting of multiple choice questions. The questions covered diverse topics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and the history of mathematics. Special emphasis was placed on Ramanujan’s work, such as his contributions to number theory and infinite series. This online quiz successfully achieved its objectives by promoting mathematical literacy and honoring the contributions of Srinivasa Ramanujan. This activity provided an inspiring learning experience for the students, encouraging them to adopt creative approaches to teaching mathematics.
