PCER, Chembur, as a part of the KHAS series- Humanistic Centre, in collaboration with Red Dot Foundation conducted an online workshop on 8th August, 2024 on “Stand Up Against Street Harassment” for creating safer public spaces for the students of the F.Y.B.Ed. Ms. Gia Alvares, the program and outreach officer conducted the session to raise awareness about the prevalence and impact of street harassment to equip the students with knowledge and tools to identify, prevent, and respond to street harassment. She spoke about fostering a sense of collective responsibility and encourage bystander intervention to promote a culture of respect and gender equality. The session contributed to creating a safer and more respectful campus community by providing essential knowledge and skills.
