On 17th February, 2023, Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai College of Education and Research, Chembur, collaborated with the Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA) to organize a training session. The session aimed to educate students about citizenship education and child rights. Conducted by CMCA representatives, Ms. Sushma Shetty and Ms. Priya Nambiar, the session introduced CMCA and engaged students in a team activity related to child rights. Additionally, Ms. Elizabeth Anila conducted an online session on concepts like prep cards and pointers. The ‘Phigital’ mode training prepared B.Ed. students to teach ‘Child Rights’ in BMC schools. Overall, the session provided valuable insights and learning opportunities for the students.
