Intercollegiate Extempore Competition 2011
Celebrating festivals is a part of our cultural ethos. We tend to celebrate festivals with enthusiasm, pomp and splendor. Without realizing the impact such celebrations have on our environment.
In our ongoing quest to make our society environmentally conscious through the ‘Principal Mathews Chacko Memorial Intercollegiate Extempore Competition’, our theme this year focussed on how we can play a role in reducing environmental degradation during our celebrations.
The theme for the competiton was ‘SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH’ with the sub theme – “Celebrations with environmental consciousness” held on 17th September, 2011 in the college premises.
The extempore competition saw students from different teacher education institutes participating in true competitive spirit. The highlights of the event were audio visual presentations on environment, a poster competition on pollution and the results of the slogan competition.
